I love the fact my Chromebook lets me know I have to update it and it takes a minute (as a maximum) to complete the process and let me keep on working.

It can do this because it’s a dumb machine, directed to do what I wish by a series of instructions and algorithms which define its practice.

People aren’t computers and we can’t just push a button to update people; wouldn’t learning be dull if that’s all we had to do?
