I mentioned twinning the other week and shortly after was talking to someone who’d been asked to create digital workshops.
Many workshop sponsors have an idea what the ‘right’ answer is. They, with others, want to move towards that ‘right’ answer but can’t control it.
So the workshop becomes the way out for them and the rod for your back.
If you’re asked to host a workshop, it’s likely because the ‘right’ answer has been decided and your role is to sell that idea.
If you want to be a more effective LnD function, make sure you’re in the room before decisions on workshops are made. Otherwise you’ll still be shopkeeping.
