Someone I know got a call last week from their employer. A few pointers for them…

Don’t leave it 8 weeks from the start of lockdown before calling your employees.

Don’t leave it 8 weeks to ask how they are.

Don’t leave it 8 weeks to ask after their family.

Don’t speak to another tranche of employees on a regular basis over that 8 week period.

Don’t leave the person hanging about whether you’ll call back.

Do promise to keep them updated (and stick to it).
