It’s easier to pick holes than fill them.

It’s easier to say how people failed rather than how they succeeded.

Telling people what they didn’t do – this was the standard and you didn’t, didn’t, didn’t – is managing through subtraction.

Work harder to sell the positive – people will appreciate you more in the end.
