I’ve used the phrase ‘Good, Cheap or Fast – you can pick 2’ in the past but realised that it’s wrong. Good, cheap and fast aren’t binary choices.

Good enough to ship matters more than perfection.

Cheap enough to scale matters more than hammering the cost down.

Fast enough to be usable matters more than at light speed.

Enough matters.
