I recently got a photo printed as a gift and since then have received numerous emails from the supplier telling me why I need to buy now. I haven’t and, on a weekly basis, receive a further email with some other reason to buy.

Building a sense of urgency is perfectly fine if there is scarcity of supply or a time bound deadline. If there isn’t, and you’re just trying to initiate a rushed purchase, you’ll soon lose faith from the buyers. If you work in learning, just be aware how long that lack of goodwill might last.
