Shared Positive Intent

It is very rare for anyone to carry out an activity that is purely negative – for them, people around them, the environment, etc. That means it is reasonable to assume that actions people take have a positive intent.

Unfortunately, what is deemed positive by one group may not be agreed by another.

When people are divided we get entrenched in our positions, unwilling (or unable) to shift. The only way out is discussion and understanding of the intent driving the other point of view.

Agree a shared intent and collaborate rather than co-operate.
