Taking time out to tell the story of the things I’ve achieved over the last few years was an incredibly tough but refreshing activity to do. I’ve been a judge and have even previously judged one of the categories I won for, so have a good sense of how to scope, prepare and present. Having been involved with awards for a while I also had an idea about what winning projects did.
Crafting submissions for judging took longer than I thought though. I found it difficult to find people to discuss the submissions with and understand how to frame the stories the best way. I wish I’d had an opportunity like the one the eLN is putting together.
On 27th April they’ll have three of last year’s winners of the Learning Technology Awards, and a panel of judges at a showcase event for some top tips on creating a submission. Full details are on the eLN website
