Is the intranet dead?

I was once told the best way to hide news you’d put it on a noticeboard.

Then 10 years ago I heard someone say the best way to hide news it was put it on the intranet.

Now? People put it in Slack, Teams, Mural, SharePoint and any other place to make it undiscoverable.

Is the intranet dead? And what’s to stop the LMS being next?
