Consulting strategy

One of the things I do is help organisations discover their learning strategy.

I don’t design it – it has to come from the organisation itself. I work alongside internal stakeholders, providing expertise, advice and an outside perspective. If you come to me and ask me to craft a strategy for you I could do it but it a) wouldn’t work and b) I’d likely refuse.

Strategy isn’t something you can buy in. You have to own it, make it part of what and why you do what you do. By the same token, designing a strategy and then ignoring it to do what you’ve alays done will mean you’ll get what you’ve always got.
