The move to people ‘pulling’ the content they want and need to learn and do is pretty much embedded now – at least for the socially engaged L&D people.
Yet here I am, every day, pushing content out. Putting bits and pieces of learning thoughts focused on the things I want to write about. I’ve said before I don’t write for an audience – although I’m very happy that these posts get half a million views a year.
If you could ‘pull’ content and ask me to write about things, what would you choose? I’m not going to stop writing about the things I like but would be interested in finding out what the people who do read these posts want to hear about.
Let me know in the comments.
I’d like to know what works – what approaches make the biggest difference to people’s ability to do their job well?
