Impression isn’t evidence

I saw a LinkedIn post last week recommending AI-generated presentations instead of CVs. A deck that included, among other things, a diagnosis of the employer’s problems and a 90-day plan.

It might get someone noticed. But what does it prove?

If recruiters reward material they haven’t asked for, are they assessing competence or simply rewarding a better pitch?
