Mind your language

When your team or group becomes so familiar with each other they start to abbreviate, sub text and in-joke.

For the new member of the team, it’s not enough to navigate their way through the organisation’s culture and process, they’re also set the task of understanding the team jargon.

Just because you’re comfortable with the cadence and rhythm of the language doesn’t mean everyone else is. Who are you excluding?
