I wrote on Tuesday about how good ideas age.

On the same day, Seth Godin published a post that good ideas feel early.

Both sides of the same coin, both right, both limiting. More interesting is the lucky coincidence can be considered by two people on opposite sides of the planet and publish them the same day.

But it isn’t luck.

It’s about being in similar spaces to see what’s happening, who is saying what, and when.

There has never been a better time to be looking up and out and scanning for those lucky coincidences. I’m pretty sure they won’t happen if you’re not working outside your comfort zone.
