Proof

I read and absorb loads. These thoughts then ruminate and get spat out as ways of working and learning. I (very) occasionally get asked to show people the evidence behind the thinking.

They don’t want to see the evidence though.

What they want to see is that an idea has been tried in the ‘real world’. This becomes their proof. Having this proof makes it easier for them to sell it within their organisations.

If you’re crafting ideas and ways of moving forward, have the evidence but don’t assume people want to hear anything other than someone else has already done it.
