Transactional analysis

I was fortunate to be speaking with Sally Rhodes last week and we were discussing evaluation and data. In the conversation I was bemoaning the lack of tactical and strategic data embraced by Learning and Development functions as part of their reporting and evaluation.

Sally described the problem quite succinctly:

If all you’re doing is transactional activity, why would you expect to be able to collect anything other than transactional data?
