Fast, good, and cheap

The Learning Technologies Autumn Forum starts next week, running online across 13, 15, 20 and 22 October.

I’ll be there throughout, chairing some of the sessions and supporting the wider host/chair team. But even if I wasn’t involved, I’d be registering.

It’s free CPD, with the chance to hear from practitioners, researchers and vendors, connect with other L&D professionals, and compare how different organisations are approaching some of the issues shaping the profession.

There’s a broad mix across the programme: AI in practice, skills and expertise, behavioural science, content, research, and the changing role of L&D itself.

A few sessions I’m particularly interested in are David Wilson on the latest L&D research, Lavinia Mehedințu on behavioural science, Julie Dirksen on skill development, Lori Niles-Hofmann on the L&D operating model, and Donald H Taylor and Eglė Vinauskaitė looking at what four years of AI research tells us.

You don’t need to attend everything. Pick the sessions that are useful to you, put them in the diary and treat the time as CPD.

It’s online and free. Why wouldn’t you be there?
