The need to interact with people is striking home really hard this week. I’m having super conversations which have been prompted by small sparks and diversions from existing activities. Since the loss of the Twitter/X #LDInsight chat, I’ve realised there is a definite need for people to connect and trade knowledge on an informal basis.

I’m thinking about something from January of next year and am starting to get my ducks in a row to make it happen. It’s still being scoped out but will definitely be:

• Regular – weekly/fortnightly tbd
• Focused on L&D and people development
• An opt-in and voluntary activity
• Free
• Held on LinkedIn
• Unsponsored

It will probably be:

• Chat and text supported
• Revolving hosts/guests
• Collectively managed and led
