Are you proving impact?

The image is a promotional graphic for a training event. It features a logo, the title "HR Series - Proving Impact," a photo of a man named Andrew Jacobs, and details about the event, which is scheduled for 29th February at 14:30 GMT. There's a call to action button that says "Register now." A person's finger is virtually touching a stylized graduation cap icon, symbolizing education or training.

I ask people this a lot and hear regularly about the intention to do so but less of the actions which make it happen.

I’ve said before many times that the way we work has changed and workplace learning needs to reflect these changes. That means adopting modern learning practices and recognising we need to modernise how we support people, and, how we measure the impact of that work. It’s about building capacity in the workplace for people to perform and then following that through in measurement.

I’ve mentioned we’ve developed an approach to this and am really happy to have the chance to speak about it.

On Thursday 29th February at 14.30 GMT I’ll be presenting on a webinar about proving impact. Aimed at senior Learning and Development professionals, and HR & OD Business Partners, we’ll be looking at:

  • Why learning needs to adapt to the changing workplace
  • Why your evaluation approach needs to change
  • Real world changes you can adopt
  • The effects it can have on your business

Please do register – I look forward to seeing you there.
